Consistency of form and content
There is a style in augmented art, both in form and content.
Everything is constructed to reflect our current era and stick to it.
The shapes are painted in such a way as to create a slight ambiguity. They are not frank to give a very square, “very pixelated” aspect of the composition.
This requires working with very fine square brushes, and with fine juxtaposed touches.
The tinted resin replaces the oil and acrylic paint to give a smooth and shiny appearance.
The aluminum support makes it possible to print the electronic circuit with a special and conductive ink, connected to the radio-frequency electronic chip which is one with the material.
The electronic chip contains the heart of the augmented work in the form of the purest possible information and linked to its digital part.
This chip also serves as a receptacle for the electromagnetic radiation of emotions actually produced which completes the augmented work.
The whole gives an augmented painting or sculpture, a resolutely contemporary coherent object.
